Oct 5 update
To all the Neebing families- thanks for being so patient as we push ahead with this new season. The six associations with LMH are organizing the initial development phase for U11(atom) and U13(PW) beginning Oct 13. Groups and ice times will be posted for those ages on the lmhockey.com website Oct 9. Since some arenas are not opening, or are later than usual, available ice amounts are reduced. The group sizes will be optimized as per arena and City of Thunder Bay guidelines. All players and parents entering the rinks will have to do Covid screening prior.
see www.thunderbay.ca/coronavirus for City arenas
Rules for all arenas are posted through the lmh website as well
Registration for these age groups will close Oct 7 at midnight
Further plans for the next stage, and any potential AA formation will be formulated based on HNO, and Public Health guidelines as we move through this initial phase into late Nov
U9(novice) will begin Oct 25, U7(IP) will begin Nov 1
Those groups and ice time for the Neebing players will be posted here after Thanksgiving, so please check back
Sept 22 update
We are working on the plan for Phase 1 and expect it to begin after Thanksgiving. Dates are not firm until we receive our ice contracts. Once dates are set, we will email the info about groups and times to the parents, along with Covid related rules about the rinks and their usage If any parents are interested in helping on-ice in this initial phase, please contact us through email@example.com and we will put you in touch with board members in charge of that age group.
Please register in the HCR now if you have not done so, as some age groups are filling quickly
