2023/2024 REGISTRATION IMPORTANT DATES AND FEES

AA Registration will close at the end of August before the evaluation skates begin.  (Exact date is currently TBD)

Single A Registration will close at the end of September.  (Exact date is currently TBD)

U7 (Born 2019-2018-2017) = $325.00
U9 (Born 2016-2015) = $500.00

U11A (Born 2014-2013) = $500.00
U11AA (Born In 2014-2013) $500.00 + $50.00 (AA Tryout Fee) = $550.00 ("AA" Registration now closed)

U13 A (Born in 2012-2011) = $500.00
U13AA (Born in 2012-2011) $500.00 + $50.00 (AA Tryout Fee) = $550.00 ("AA" Registration now closed)

Additional team fees apply for U9 to U13.  No additional fees for U7.

Hockey Canada has updated the “HCR” Registration system,  if your player has previously been registered for hockey their information is already in the system.  You must log in to the updated system with the same email that you have previously used to register and then you can search for your player using their full name and date of birth.  This will ensure that previous Respect in Sport courses as well as previous season data are retained with your players profile.

If your player has not registered for hockey previously, you will be able to create a new account and add their information to the HCR System and complete your online registration.

If you are wanting to register from another association, our registrar must FIRST request a transfer. Please send the player's HC hockey ID#, or the full name of the player and his/her DOB to neebingminorhockey@gmail.com to start the transfer process.

U11 – Hockey Canada Player Development Pathway  

All players registering for U11 Hockey this season will follow the new Hockey Canada U11 Player Development Pathway.   This new development model means that all U11 Players (U11A and U11AA Divisions) can participate in 4 pre evaluation development skates.  These skates will be scheduled prior to any AA or A Evaluation skates.  Your player will be placed in a development skate group and you will be contacted via email wither further details regarding group assignments and skate times.

The following procedure will used by ALL LMHL Member Associations:
* Players will register with the ONE Association Member of their choice using the HOCKEY CANADA REGISTRY for all Lakehead Minor Hockey AA Divisions.

LMHL AA Tryouts will be held from mid to late September.  (Exact date is currently TBD)

Your Player will be assigned to a tryout group and you will be contacted via email with further details.

* Players being selected to AA teams will be contacted immediately following the draft.

* AA Draft will be held in the days immediately following the Tryouts.  (Exact date is currently TBD)

* For players NOT SELECTED to AA teams, they will be placed with the association where they registered.  Player Transfers after the city wide AA draft are not allowed by LMHL.

Registration for U9,U11 A/AA AND U13 A/AA divisions are done through the Hockey Canada Registration Portal.  For AA registrants, the organization you register with will dictate where your player falls back to if they do not make AA.
