The Midget Neebing Hawks won the city championship last night with a dramatic 5-4 double OT win over the West End Bruins.  The Hawks came out with a quick 2-0 lead in the frst but the Bruins came back to take the lead at the end of 1 period 3-2.  The Hawks came back early in the second to tie it but the Bruins took the lead soon after.  Midway through the third the Hawks tied the game.  A few challenges near the end of the third lead to the team forcing it overtime.   No scoring in the first overtime period but midway through the second OT period while the Hawks were applying good pressure the puck squirted out in front of the net and was buried between the Bruins netminders pads to end it.  Great job to the Midget Team and their coaching staff!  Congratulations!
